The current situation
Broadcom is pursuing a clear, global strategy:
The VCSP program is being significantly consolidated worldwide, resulting in a significant reduction in the number of service providers.
Termination letters have already been issued in several regions.
For many partners, this means:
- Existing VCSP contracts are expiring
- Decisions about the future must be made at short notice
- Core expansions are now only possible in the original model from 500 cores – but switching to us still gives you full flexibility
- No new customers or projects are allowed during the remaining term of the VCSP – but with evoila, you can continue your business as usual

You are currently still in the ongoing VCSP program, but the changes will also affect you.
Now is the right time to realign your strategy before the European adjustments become binding. Initially, yes. This will then be managed directly by evoila under contract. With the next hardware refresh, the hardware will be provided by evoila. Let’s talk about it.

That is up to you; both the location and physical access are your responsibility.

We focus on the server stack (HCI) and share any network requirements that may arise. We do the design together, as well as the implementation—as partners on equal footing.

From November 1, 2025, it will no longer be permitted to implement new customers/projects on the infrastructure, and growth of the existing infrastructure will only be possible in 500-core increments. By moving the cores to evoila, we can resolve these issues for you, so act now and avoid further restrictions.

The process will be initiated by us after a signed MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) and carried out together with Broadcom. We ensure that there are no duplicate costs, contractually guaranteed!

Broadcom wants to drive standardization, automation, and quality among service providers. With the developments of recent years, VMware Cloud Foundation is a serious alternative to Azure, AWS, and Google. Since VMware is not developing its own offering, it is important to them that adoption takes place in the service provider field. At evoila, we have been supporting VCF since the very beginning.

We at evoila assume this risk. We deliver hardware, software, and basic managed services as a package with a commitment from Broadcom and long-term contracts with you, hardware manufacturers, and Broadcom.

To ascertain your Core requirement, you can simply check the number of CPU cores in your vCenter inventory. Each CPU is accounted for with a minimum of 16 cores, regardless of its actual core count. If needed, our experts can assist you with this.

Metering is conducted through a specialized appliance in your infrastructure, automatically recording the utilized core count and reporting it monthly to Broadcom. If necessary, an Air-Gapped solution is also available.

Host in Maintenance mode will be counted as used cores, only DPM auto shutdown or manual shutdown will prevent them from being counted.

Stateless Gateway Firewalls are included in the VCF Core. Stateful Gateway Firewalls and Distributed Firewalls are available separately.

Calculation is based on the effective core count of Edge Transport Nodes (VM or Bare-Metal) including HA instances, multiplied by 4.

Generally, support is handled through us. Our experienced managed service staff, with a high initial resolution rate, handle Level 1 and Level 2 support independently. For Level 3 support cases, we involve VMware by Broadcom Support.

As a service provider, you have access to the VCF bundle containing various products like vSphere Enterprise+, Aria Suite Enterprise, vSAN Enterprise (1 TiB per Core), NSX Enterprise+, and HCX Enterprise. Additional add-ons such as vSAN, SRM, Firewall, and others are available.

During onboarding, a Usage Meter is installed in your environment, license keys are updated, and training on the evoila tools is provided.
