Charity review 2025

Making a difference together at evoila.

Why charity? Because we know that economic success also comes with responsibility. Responsibility for the people around us, our communities and our environment.
We believe that positive change happens when people act together. That is why we support young talent, raise awareness, highlight social challenges and provide direct help where it is needed.

At evoila, we do not want to stand by and watch. We want to actively contribute. And yes, charity can also be fun as you will see below.

Supporting talents: Tekkie Award 2025

Let us start with our participation in the Tekkie Award 2025. As an official partner of this nationwide competition for young talent, we were able to inspire young people to engage with IT and digital topics. Pupils, apprentices, students and career starters showcased their skills through innovative projects, including the category Digital Sustainability, which focuses on the responsible and sustainable use of technology.

Why do we support the Tekkie Award? Because the future is shaped where young people develop bold ideas and use technology with purpose. We did not want to be just another sponsor. At the final event in Fulda, we were on site, met the finalists in person, exchanged ideas and shared insights into real career paths in IT.

Our involvement in the Tekkie Award once again showed us that investing in education and young talent is a win for the entire community.

Classic promotional gifts? No thanks!

For some of our partners and customers, we consciously chose something different. Instead of standard promotional items, we opted for regional honey. The honey comes from a colleague who keeps bees with great care, passion and a strong sense of responsibility.

Along with the honey, we included a greeting card made from seed paper. It can be planted, continues to grow and symbolises what matters to us. No disposable items, but thoughtful gestures with added value. Ideally with a positive impact, in this case for insects and the environment.

Thousands of blood donations are missing every year in Germany

One might think that there is no longer any need to remind people how important blood donations are. Yet for many, the topic only becomes truly relevant when they or someone close to them depends on it.

That is why we took part in the Donate IT Because Every Drop Counts in the System campaign on World Blood Donor Day, June 14. evoila encouraged all employees to donate blood. To make participation easier, blood donation during working hours was explicitly allowed.

In addition, a colleague who volunteers with the German Red Cross organised a local blood donation event in Gimbsheim.

The Gentleman’s Ride: Focusing on men’s health

Individual commitment also helps bring our values to life. A great example of this is the Gentleman’s Ride 2025 in Bad Kreuznach. Our colleague Michael Hahn took part for the third time as a rider and supported the event this year as a co-organiser for the first time.

Around the world, thousands of motorcyclists use the Gentleman’s Ride to raise awareness of men’s health and to collect donations for prostate cancer research and mental health initiatives.

In Bad Kreuznach, around 200 riders took part in the ride, accompanied by police and fire services and supported by many spectators along the route. In total, more than 12,000 euros were raised for the Movember Foundation.

Uphill for a good cause

Endurance, community and social commitment go hand in hand. That is exactly what the Tour de evoila demonstrated.

An international team from Germany, Austria and Slovakia tackled four iconic climbs of the Tour de France. For every vertical metre climbed, evoila donated one euro to childhood cancer charities in the respective countries.

Looking back at our charity activities, one thing becomes clear. evoila stands for more than IT solutions. We stand for responsibility, sustainability and a strong sense of togetherness. 2025 was a year full of small and large initiatives that made a real impact.

And 2026? It will certainly not be any less committed. One thing is clear. Social engagement is an integral part of evoila.
