Sobre el puesto:

• Recopilar y analizar requisitos de clientes en entornos basados en vSphere Supervisor sobre VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation).
• Crear y coordinar conceptos técnicos centrados en plataformas Kubernetes sobre vSphere.
• Dirigir workshops estratégicos y brindar consultoría sobre arquitectura y diseño de soluciones basadas en vSphere Kubernetes Service.
• Desarrollar hojas de ruta de implementación alineadas con decisiones estratégicas centradas en Kubernetes bajo vSphere Supervisor.
• Implementar soluciones diseñadas incluyendo despliegue de namespaces, políticas de red y almacenamiento para pods y clusters.
• Realizar troubleshooting en entornos de Kubernetes gestionados a través de vSphere Supervisor.

Lo Que Deberías Aportar

• Mínimo 3-4 años de experiencia profesional en entornos de Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), especialmente con VMware vSphere Supervisor (vSphere Kubernetes Service). 
• Conocimiento práctico en vSphere Supervisor (vSphere with Tanzu), incluyendo gestión de Namespaces, Supervisor Services, políticas de red, almacenamiento, seguridad, registros de imágenes (Harbor), gestión de certificados (Cert Manager) y soluciones de ingress (Contour, Nginx). 
• Experiencia con herramientas de CI/CD utilizando GitLab CI, GitHub Actions u otras herramientas similares, integradas en pipelines de entrega para entornos Kubernetes.
• Conocimientos en GitOps aplicados al ciclo de vida de aplicaciones, usando herramientas como ArgoCD y FluxCD para entornos gestionados sobre vSphere Supervisor.
• Familiaridad con herramientas de observabilidad en entornos modernos:
  • VCF Operations (vROps).
  • Prometheus y Grafana para métricas y visualización.
  • Fluent Bit o soluciones similares para recolección y envío de logs.
• Experiencia en sistemas operativos Linux, especialmente Photon OS. 
• Conocimientos sólidos en redes IP, incluidas configuraciones para microsegmentación y servicios de red en Kubernetes con NSX y AVI Load Balancer. 
• Capacidad analítica, orientación al detalle, trabajo colaborativo y fuerte enfoque al cliente.
• Fluidez en español y excelente nivel de inglés técnico.

Idealmente, También Tienes

• Experiencia directa con soluciones VMware Cloud Foundation integradas con vSphere Supervisor y vSphere Kubernetes Service. 
• Conocimiento en soluciones de respaldo y recuperación ante desastres para workloads en contenedores y máquinas virtuales. 
• Familiaridad con soluciones de red como NSX y AVI Load Balancer  y sus integraciones con Kubernetes. 
• Participación en proyectos de migración con workloads containerizados.
• Certificaciones de VMware (por ejemplo, VCP-DCV con foco en Kubernetes/Tanzu) y Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). 
• Experiencia en automatización de centros de datos y entornos Kubernetes usando herramientas como Ansible, Terraform, Powershell o Helm. 
• Capacidad para trabajar según las mejores prácticas de ITIL y metodologías ágiles (Scrum/Kanban).

Your Responsibilities:

• Gathering and analyzing customer requirements for vSphere Supervisor with VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation)
• Create technical concepts focused on Kubernetes platforms on vSphere.
• Conducting strategy workshops and providing consulting on architecture and design based on vSphere Kubernetes Service
• Developing im plementation roadmaps based on strategic decisions
• Implementing designed solutions including deployment of namespaces, network policies and pods and cluster storage.
• Troubleshoot issues in Kubernetes environments managed through vSphere Supervisor

What You Should Bring:

• Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments, especially with VMware vSphere Supervisor (vSphere Kubernetes Service).
• Hands-on knowledge of vSphere Supervisor (vSphere with Tanzu), including management of Namespaces, Supervisor Services, network policies, storage, security, image registries (Harbor), certificate management (Cert Manager), and ingress solutions (Contour, Nginx).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools, integrated into delivery pipelines for Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of GitOps applied to application lifecycle, using tools like ArgoCD and FluxCD in vSphere Supervisor-managed environments.
• Familiarity with observability tools in modern environments:
  • VCF Operations (vROps)
  • Prometheus and Grafana for metrics and visualization
  • Fluent Bit or similar solutions for log collection and forwarding
• Experience with Linux operating systems, especially Photon OS.
• Solid knowledge of IP networking, including configurations for microsegmentation and network services in Kubernetes using NSX and AVI Load Balancer.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and strong customer orientation.
• Fluent in Spanish and excellent technical English.

Ideally, You Have

• Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation solutions integrated with vSphere Supervisor and vSphere Kubernetes Service.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions for containerized workloads and virtual machines.
• Familiarity with networking solutions such as NSX and AVI Load Balancer, including their integration with Kubernetes.
• Participation in migration projects involving containerized workloads.
• VMware certifications (e.g., VCP-DCV with a focus on Kubernetes/Tanzu) and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Experience in automating data centers and Kubernetes environments using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or Helm.
• Can work according to the recommendations of ITIL best practices and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
