From Chaos to Control: Ship faster, own your platform & scale with confidence

Most enterprise engineering teams don’t lack tooling
They lack a coherent platform. Kubernetes clusters grow without standards, developers wait days for environments, and every team reinvents the same golden path, if there is any. evoila builds application platforms that put engineering teams back in control: from container orchestration and GitOps automation to self-service portals and secret management. The stack is opinionated where it needs to be, open where it should be – built on CNCF-proven open source technologies, with other vendors’ products where speed and enterprise-grade reliability matter most. We rely on our Certified Kubestronauts and very experienced engineering and consulting team to lead every engagement.

FAQs
Commonly asked questions about Platform Engineering
Platform Engineering builds and operates the internal infrastructure and tooling that development teams consume as a product. Where DevOps is a cultural practice, Platform Engineering is the discipline of making that practice scalable by standardizing golden paths, self-service capabilities, and automating delivery pipelines that reduce cognitive load on product teams.
No. An internal developer platform typically sits on top of your existing infrastructure and can be implemented and integrated in a flexible way depending on your requirements.
Opinionated platforms provide predefined standards and recommended tooling based on best practices. This often accelerates time-to-value, reduces complexity, and delivers faster ROI by establishing a consistent baseline. However, they can sometimes be more rigid and don’t provide the flexibility that many customers require. How much, to what extent, and in which areas your platform needs to be flexible is the difficult part where we can provide our expertise to meet your needs and make the right decision.
Scope determines timeline — which is why every engagement starts with defining a Minimum Viable Platform (MVP). The MVP is the smallest possible platform that delivers real business value: a production-ready foundation teams can actually ship on, not a proof of concept. evoila defines this scope collaboratively, identifying which capabilities unlock the most value first — typically a Kubernetes baseline, GitOps automation, and a basic self-service layer. From there, the platform grows incrementally.
The team includes certified Kubestronauts and Ambassadors of the Platform Engineering program (platformengineering.org) — hands-on credentials that reflect deep practical experience in cloud native environments. evoila also contributes original open source tooling, including Janus, a multi-tenant observability proxy built to close gaps the broader ecosystem hadn’t addressed.
