In the position of Support Service Employee (m/f/d) in the Managed Services division, you will be an important part of our team. You will be responsible for supporting our customers' IT environments and play a central role in resolving incidents.

About the job:

  • Support & Operation: You will be responsible for the active operation of Kubernetes environments and container technologies. This includes administration, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring and reporting.

  • Ticket management: You accept tickets and operate our ticket system (Jira). If required, you will create manufacturer tickets (also in English).

  • Customer support: You accompany our customers until their tickets are closed and ensure that all IT service management processes are adhered to.

  • Collaboration: You will work closely with our customers' specialist departments to find and implement optimal solutions.

Who you are:

  • Completed IT training or at least 2 years of professional experience in IT.

  • Experience in operating VMware environments, especially Tanzu Kubernetes Grid in all its variants.

  • Sound knowledge of Kubernetes or the Linux environment.

  • Good knowledge of DevOps, GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Practical experience in Day2Operations (alerting, monitoring, backup).

  • Familiarity with virtualisation topics that affect an on-prem infrastructure and an understanding of how these can impact Kubernetes environments (e.g. VMs, storage solutions, networking with Layer4 and Layer7, high availability etc.).

  • A strong service orientation and enjoy working in a team.

  • Excellent communication skills to act confidently even in stressful situations.

  • Very good knowledge of German (C1) and good knowledge of English (B2).

  • Willingness to work on-call duty.

It would be optimal if:

  • You have experience in designing and building Kubernetes platforms.

In der Position als Support Service Mitarbeiter (m/w/d) im Bereich Managed Services bist du ein wichtiger Bestandteil unseres Teams. Du bist verantwortlich für die Betreuung der IT-Umgebungen unserer Kunden und spielst eine zentrale Rolle bei der Lösung von Störungsfällen.

Deine Aufgaben:

  • Support & Betrieb: Du übernimmst den aktiven Betrieb der Kubernetes-Umgebungen und Container-Technologien. Dazu gehören Administration, Konfiguration, Störungsbeseitigung, Monitoring und Reporting.

  • Ticket-Management: Du nimmst Tickets entgegen und bedienst unser Ticketsystem (Jira). Bei Bedarf erstellst du Hersteller-Tickets (auch auf Englisch).

  • Kundenbetreuung: Du begleitest unsere Kunden bis zum Abschluss ihrer Tickets und stellst sicher, dass alle IT-Service Management Prozesse eingehalten werden.

  • Zusammenarbeit: Du arbeitest eng mit den Fachbereichen unserer Kunden zusammen, um optimale Lösungen zu finden und umzusetzen.

Was du mitbringen solltest:

  • Eine abgeschlossene IT-Ausbildung oder mindestens 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich IT.

  • Erfahrung im Betrieb von VMware-Umgebungen, insbesondere Tanzu Kubernetes Grid in all seinen Varianten.

  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Kubernetes oder im Linux-Umfeld.

  • Gute Kenntnisse im Bereich DevOps, GitOps und CI/CD-Pipelines.

  • Praktische Erfahrung in Day2Operations (Alerting, Monitoring, Backup).

  • Vertrautheit mit Virtualisierungsthemen, die eine On-Prem-Infrastruktur betreffen, und ein Verständnis dafür, wie sich diese auf Kubernetes-Umgebungen auswirken können (z. B. VMs, Storage-Lösungen, Networking mit Layer4 und Layer7, High-Availability etc.).

  • Eine ausgeprägte Serviceorientierung und Freude an der Teamarbeit.

  • Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, um auch in stressigen Situationen souverän zu agieren.

  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2).

  • Bereitschaft zur Arbeit im Bereitschaftsdienst.

  • Du Erfahrung im Design und Aufbau von Kubernetes-Plattformen mitbringst.
