As part of our team of experienced cloud engineers, you will assume responsibility in customer projects following a comprehensive induction program.

About the job:

  • Collaborating with colleagues to document and analyze customer requirements in the Kubernetes environment

  • Creating and coordinating concepts

  • Conducting customer workshops and proof-of-concept installations as part of a team

  • Supporting customer consultations using Kubernetes and container technologies

  • Ensuring close collaboration with other evoila teams and comprehending their concepts and solutions

  • Providing sales support by establishing and maintaining customer relationships

  • Ensuring a long-term and collaborative partnership with our customers

Who you are:

  • Hold a university degree in computer science, e-technology, physics, or mathematics or related subjects

  • Alternatively, have completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration

  • Possess a confident demeanor, strong analytical and conceptual skills, the ability to work in a team, and a customer-oriented mindset in IT

It would be optimal if …:

you possess all the skills related to the DevOps Senior Associate (m/f/d) position and:

  • You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the DevOps field

  • You are proficient in at least 2 different tools for each step of the complete software supply chain: Code Build, Code Scanning, Container Build, CI/CD Tools, Kubernetes Deployment, cloud-native testing techniques (e.g., chaos monkey, multi-version testing, etc.), APM, and cloud-native application monitoring

  • You can lead methodology workshops with our customers, focusing on "DevOps" and "Cloud Native Software Development," among other topics, to explain how to do it right and how to get there

  • You have in-depth knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code

  • You can effectively communicate complex technical subjects to non-technical individuals at our customer organizations

Was Du mitbringen solltest:

  • Du verfügst über einen Hochschulabschluss in Informatik, E-Technik, Physik oder Mathematik oder verwandten Fachrichtungen

  • Alternativ hast Du eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung zum Fachinformatiker (m/w/d) für Systemintegration

  • Du verfügst über ein sicheres Auftreten, ausgeprägte analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten, Teamfähigkeit und eine kundenorientierte Denkweise in der IT

Optimal wäre es, wenn …:

du alle Fähigkeiten im Zusammenhang mit der Position als DevOps Senior Associate (m/w/d) besitzt und:

  • Du mindestens 4 Jahre Erfahrung im DevOps-Bereich hast

  • Du mindestens 2 verschiedene Tools für jeden Schritt der kompletten Software-Lieferkette beherrschst: Code-Build, Code-Scanning, Container-Build, CI/CD-Tools, Kubernetes-Bereitstellung, cloud-native Testverfahren (z.B. Chaos Monkey, Multi-Version Testing, usw.), APM und Monitoring von cloud-nativen Anwendungen

  • Du Methoden-Workshops mit unseren Kunden leiten kannst, die sich auf Themen wie "DevOps" und "Cloud Native Softwareentwicklung" konzentrieren und erläutern, wie man es richtig macht und wie man dorthin gelangt

  • Du über fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich Infrastructure-as-Code verfügst

  • Du komplexe technische Themen verständlich an nicht-technische Ansprechpartner bei unseren Kunden vermitteln kannst

If you feel comfortable in a cloud technology like OpenStack, CloudFoundy, AWS, etc. or you know a lot about a virtualization technology like VMware vSphere, then you’re in the right place with us. We will also train you as a cloud engineer or cloud architect.

After about 1 week, you will know whether we want to get to know you. Then you will be invited to an online conversation.

Your document should contain a personal address as well as your CV and your previous qualifications such as school, study, certifications, certificates, etc. A picture of you can also be included in the letter as well as your salary requirements.

After an online conversation via Skype, Zoom or another online tool we will provide you with a simple task. You will bring along the result of the task to a personal conversation in one of our offices. When everything fits, nothing will prevent us from hiring you.

Usually the conversations (online and onsite) take place with you, a potential team leader for your position and a human resources representative.

We evaluate your score using a point system. That is based on your documents, the interview, the personal impression and the result of the small task.
