Architecture design – vendor-neutral, not vendor-driven

evoila holds active partnerships with Fortinet, Cisco, Arista, and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. In practice this means the architecture team selects the platform based on technical and commercial requirements, not on stock availability or margin preference. Campus networks are designed on Cisco Catalyst or Fortinet FortiSwitch/FortiAP depending on whether centralised cloud management or Security Fabric integration is the priority. Datacenter projects use Arista EOS for highly automated spine-leaf fabrics or ALE OmniSwitch for converged environments. SD-WAN architectures are delivered including connectivity product procurement, fibre, DSL, and LTE from one source.

Physical installation – coordination is the real skill

Configuring a switch correctly is a solvable problem. The actual challenge in network installations is coordination: lead times, building constraints, access permissions, parallel operation of legacy and new infrastructure, alignment with facility management and internal IT teams. evoila project leads manage this coordination using a runbook distilled from over 500 projects. On-site teams receive complete installation documentation before they enter the building, no improvisation, no questions that create delays mid-installation.

WLAN planning & troubleshooting – measurement-based, not guesswork

Wireless coverage problems are among the most common sources of user complaints after a network rollout and the hardest to fix retroactively once access points are mounted and ceilings are closed. evoila plans every WLAN deployment using Ekahau, the industry standard for RF site survey and predictive wireless design. Before a single access point is ordered, Ekahau’s predictive modelling simulates coverage, signal strength, channel utilisation, and AP placement against the actual floor plan and building materials. The result is a deployment plan that accounts for physical reality — not an average-case assumption.

Post-installation, evoila uses Ekahau for active site surveys: spectrum analysis, heatmap validation, and interference source identification. When WLAN problems surface in production (roaming failures, coverage gaps, co-channel interference from neighbouring networks) evoila engineers locate and resolve the root cause with measured data, not trial-and-error reconfiguration. This methodology reduces the time from fault report to resolution significantly and produces documented evidence of post-remediation performance that IT leaders can use for internal reporting and vendor escalations.

Documentation & knowledge transfer – the basis for independent operations

Every evoila project concludes with complete network documentation: physical topology, logical architecture, configuration backups, IP address plan, VLAN overview, and change history. This documentation is formatted so that internal IT teams can use it without evoila involvement. Optionally, evoila runs a knowledge transfer workshop where internal staff operate the new systems under guidance and work through typical change scenarios. This prevents the dependency that forms when an external provider is the only party that understands the system.
