Identity:
Who we are

evoila was not assembled in a boardroom. It was built by people who found IT genuinely fascinating, and who had seen enough consulting engagements fail at the strategy-to-execution gap to decide they would close it themselves.

Our Origin

Where we came from

In 2015, a group of engineers started evoila with a focus on automating data center infrastructure for training institutes. No venture capital, no acquisition strategy, no planned exit. Owner-managed from the first day, with the kind of flat hierarchy that only works when the people in it are technically capable enough not to need a management layer above them.

Within a few years, evoila had built a reputation strong enough that VMware approached the company to support their professional services. That kind of recognition does not come from a sales pitch. It comes from doing the work well, consistently, and being honest about what you can and cannot do. Reputation before revenue. That sequence still holds.

“There is a lot of noise in IT consulting. Too many presentations, not enough people who actually understand the architecture underneath. That is what we are here to change.” Jannik Heyl (CTO evoila)

Our Vision

We redefine IT consulting and make IT a better place.

The problem this vision responds to is real. IT consulting has developed a habit of separating strategic advice from technical execution, of optimizing for billable hours rather than client outcomes, and of producing deliverables that look impressive and run poorly. Too many CIOs have invested in transformation programmes that fell apart between the whitepaper and the production environment.

evoila was built as a direct alternative to that model. Less architecture theater, more working infrastructure. Less process documentation, more engineers who understand what they are recommending. The vision is not aspirational language. It is a critique of the status quo and a commitment to something better.

Our Mission

We challenge the status quo of IT consulting, because addressing IT challenges requires joint evolving and a holistic perspective.

Two words in that sentence carry the weight. Joint: the work happens with clients, not for them. Their domain knowledge and our technical depth have to connect, or the solution will not hold. And holistic: because in production, an infrastructure decision is a security decision is a data decision. Treating them in isolation is how projects fail.

This is what #WeGetITDone means as a delivery standard: not just that the project gets finished, but that it gets finished in a way that actually serves the client’s real situation, not the version of the situation that was easiest to scope.

Our Purpose

evoila exists to make IT a more honest industry

One where technical expertise is not obscured by consulting methodology. Where a recommendation reflects the best answer, not the best margin. Where a partner stays accountable after go-live, because the relationship does not end when the invoice is sent.

That is a high standard. We hold ourselves to it because the alternative is becoming exactly what we set out not to be.

Our Reason Why

Owner-managed and fully self-financed means evoila answers to no one except the clients IT works for

No investor board shaping which engagements to prioritize. No quarterly pressure pushing recommendations toward higher-margin services regardless of fit. The independence is not incidental. It is the mechanism that keeps the mission honest.

600+ specialists across 15+ countries, and not one of them hired to fill a headcount target set by a growth fund. Every team member is here because the work is worth doing and the culture is worth being part of.

Need someone who gets IT done?

If you are tired of corporate presentations that run smoothly on paper but collapse in the actual production environment, you have found your home base. We keep our structures flat, our hierarchy invisible, and our focus entirely on high substance solutions.

Let us connect on eye level, skip the bureaucratic loops, and build systems that truly endure.
